About Us

As of 2015, we have two stock bulls on co-ownership with Bova AI.  Lannigan Red Deep Canyon and Westellen Diego.

Our many years of experience in dealing with the Aberdeen Angus breed has allowed us to buld up both a strong reputation and a strong herd of Irish Angus Cattle which we can now offer to our customers,whilst maintaining the Angus traits of hardiness, easy calving and suitability to low labour systems.

Our primary stock bull in 2015, Lanigan Deep Canyon,  is the top indices beef bull, of any breed in Ireland.

Our main markets are 
  • Pedigree breeders looking for top quality female genetics from which to breed show stock.
  • Farmers looking for herd sires for both dairy  and beef enterprises.

In 2014 we had another great year.  Out of two cattle taken to four shows we were lucky enough to win :

The Charleville Female Champion
The Ossory Reserve Irish Angus 
The Capamore Champion
The All-Ireland Aberdeen Angus Senior Heifer.
2015 has started off well.  We had the Champion and Reserve Champion at Newcastle West show.  Champion was bull Dalriada 1366.  His mother, grandmother and great grandmother all won at national level.  So we seem  to have a strong gene in that line.
